TUS and atmosphere surveys
We carry out temperature uniformity surveys (TUS) and atmosphere surveys in furnaces and generators on the customer site, in line with the requirements of the standard the plant is audited against. We use our own calibrated and certified measuring equipment and thermocouples. Every survey ends with a report containing the results together with suggestions for optimising the processes.

Services and support
Oxygen probe service and refurbishment
Probes are tested in a dedicated test furnace with certified reference gas, under conditions close to real operation in a carburising furnace. The test report covers the voltage characteristic, the impedance of the zirconia element, thermocouple accuracy and probe leak tightness. We add a description of the cause of wear and advice on what to do so that the next probe lasts longer.

Services and support
Calibration of meters and analysers
We calibrate measuring instruments such as gas analysers and dew point meters made by SSi and, where possible, by other manufacturers. Every job ends with a calibration certificate showing the results before and after. If a fault is found during calibration, we correct it straight away, as far as the scope of the job and the availability of parts allow. Flow meters are calibrated on the running installation at the customer site.

Engineering and consulting services
We deliver projects from concept to acceptance: control system design, electrical documentation, cabinet build and testing, on-site installation, commissioning and operator training. We modernise furnaces in operation: control system replacement, migration of controller programs, gas panel upgrades, bringing installations up to current safety requirements and connecting equipment to a supervisory system.

Services and support
Technical training
We run training for three groups: furnace operators, maintenance teams, and quality and process engineering departments. The programme is built around the plant equipment, not around a generic list of topics. On-site sessions take place next to running furnaces, so probe handling, atmosphere verification and the response to typical alarms can be practised immediately. Sessions are run in small groups by experienced staff.

You send a form describing the instrument and the symptom. We confirm receipt within one working day.
Return number
We issue a request number and provide the shipping address together with packing instructions.
Testing and quotation
We take measurements, establish the cause and present the scope of repair with a cost for your approval.
Repair and certificate
After approval we repair the instrument, carry out a final test and issue the documentation.
Return and report
We ship the instrument back together with a report describing the cause of failure and our recommendations.
