SuperGen - Endothermic Generator Control System, fueled by V-Mix
Controls generator output and dew point through the V-Mix valve system, correcting the air to gas ratio automatically during operation.
Endothermic gas generators
Demand-based generator control that produces only the endothermic gas the connected furnaces actually call for, from 15 % to 100 % of maximum capacity.
SuperGen is the third generation of controlled endothermic and exothermic gas production. Using the latest sensor technology, it continuously updates the flow curve database as the atmosphere and the condition of the catalyst change, which gives improved process control, increased turndown and a faster response to changes in gas demand.
The system lowers running costs by making sure the generator produces only the volume of gas demanded by the furnaces it feeds, while guaranteeing a permanent supply of stable, high quality endothermic gas from 15 % to 100 % of maximum capacity. Cleaner, drier and more stable carrier gas can shorten furnace cycle and recovery times, reduce reworked batches, improve process repeatability and product quality, and lower furnace maintenance costs.
Predictive maintenance of the catalyst and the retort shortens downtime and maintenance expenditure, because unnecessary maintenance intervals are eliminated and the retort and catalyst stay in service longer. A large, clear and easy to use interface gives operators, maintenance staff and management access to key real-time and historical data, which minimises operator error, while all safety metrics are continuously monitored, interlocked and alarmed.

Controls generator output and dew point through the V-Mix valve system, correcting the air to gas ratio automatically during operation.

Measures the dew point or the CO₂ content of the generator atmosphere and, in the control version, trims the air supply automatically to hold the set value.
