Opis
SuperCALC is an advanced calculator app for the heat treating industry, available for smartphones and tablets running iOS (iPhone, iPad and iPod) and Android. Both versions are free: the iOS version is in the App Store and the Android version in Google Play.
The app groups several calculators. The Furnace Calculator works out percent carbon, dew point and percent oxygen from probe millivolts and temperature. The IR 3-gas Calculator works out percent carbon from furnace temperature and the CO, CO2 and CH4 readings of a three-gas analyser. The Generator Calculator works out the required air and gas flow for a given endothermic generator output. The Nitriding Calculator works out dissociated ammonia and the nitriding potential KN, and a unit converter covers temperature, vacuum level, pressure and flow.
Because the calculators let the user enter gas percentages, probe data and temperatures freely, different scenarios can be run through to see how each variable affects the calculated carbon level before the change is made on the furnace.
